Robert "Bob" Alan Sandstrom, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born in Bronx, New York. He was raised in Bogota, New Jersey and was a resident of Hampton for 27 years. 

Bob was retired from the U.S. Navy as a Lt. Commander after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Lafayette Gun Club and the NRA.

Bob was preceded in rest by his father, Lennart Sandstrom; mother, Ottilia Sandstrom; brother, John Sandstrom; and aunt, Rita Zimmermann. He is survived by daughters, Sonja Ann Sandstrom of Hillsborough, New Jersey and Christine James of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey; grandchildren, Rachael Richardson, Amanda Richardson, Eva Khoury, Benjamin Khoury, Madelyn James, and Alec James; Barbara Sandstrom and Mary Sandstrom; and niece, Kirsten Dorans.
